ANNOUNCEMENTS
The board of directors at the Conestoga Country Club has decided to end the show at the conclusion of the tournament on April 30th for the rest of the Spring, Summer and Fall because of the golf season getting into full swing. We will return in the late fall.

Last Week's Blurbage
Well, another full house here at the Barn Door last week and "Out of the Vortex" now has a commanding lead in the Spring 2009 tournament over the "J-Men". The "J-Men" are now 23 points behind the tournament leaders with just 3 weeks to go and if you actually look at the statistics, that is less than one 5 point question per week. Hey "J-Men", you better step it up. In 3rd place is the "Wacky Corner". The 'Corner has sufferred without Ed and Natalie the last couple of weeks. Phil tries to pick up the slack but Lori says he just doesn't have what it takes. In 4th place, only 3 points behind the "Wacky Corner", is "R&R", the single loudest, most irritating group of yahoos on the planet but you gotta love their support for the show. "Crimson Tide" is holding on to 5th place and unless Jaime REALLY screws up his team (likely says Jan)......."Just Dumb Luck" is lurking.......they are headed for that 5th place finish. Speaking of "Just Dumb Luck"......Katie and her band of loons had better watch out. AJ's "Purple Sticky Punch", Tara's "Just Bonin' Up", and "Bob's Angels" are all licking their chops at that final 6th place money position. And Emily and her "Don't Know Jack" misfits are trying very hard to keep "KC" out of that 10th place spot that they oh-so love.

Last Week's Blurbage
Well, our regular 4 teams showed up again but with MUCH larger numbers. All seemed to have fun as we wind down our Spring stint here at the Country Club. 2 weeks to go and Antonio's goofy "We Don't Know Jack" gang has virtually assured themselves of the 1st place spot. They have won for 3 consecutive weeks and now hold a 42 point lead over the once mighty "Dog Pound" who tried to invigorate themselves by adding the Schoffstalls to their team. That deadly father-daughter combo just wasn't enough as they faltered once again. "And, Screechowl Dawn's "Nobody Knows Crap" team is back in 3rd place and only 10 points behind the 'Pound as they dumped the "Rejected Puppies" into 4th place overall.

Last Week's Blurbage
Well, another full house here at the Barn Door last week and the "J-Men" got their 2nd victory of the tournament as we greeted hump week with a blowout of sorts. The "J-Men" finished one point ahead of "Out of the Vortex" but the closest anybody else got was the 3rd place "Wacky Corner". The 'Corner finished a WHOPPING 21 points back and "R & R" another 7 points behind that. The horrific night of scoring dropped "R & R" into 4th place pverall. Meanwhile, "Crimson Tide" continued their struggles with the 3rd round (it IS their nemisis) and have fallen far off the pace in 5th place. AND, "KC" is once again on a quest to finish 10th with 4 weeks to go.

Well, back to the Dining Room again and 4 teams showed up. It makes the room look like it is full but really isn't. "We Don't Know Jack" won for the 2nd straight week and with 3 weeks to go in our innaugural Spring Tournament the 'Jack has assumed a commanding 23 point lead over the "Dog Pound" who are now 12 points ahead of their kin, the "Rejected Puppies". "Nobody Knows Crap", without Dawn and Carli, have dropped to 4th place but they are ONLY 2 points behind the 'Puppies.

HOLY MOLY! 18 teams, 86 people! You guys blew the doors off the Barn Door last week and "Wacky Corner" got their first weekly win in over a quarter of a century. And they needed every bit of that to slip past "Out of the Vortex" and "R & R"; and those two teams are now in a two way tie for 2nd place overall as we approach hump week in our Spring 2009 Tournament. 5th Place "Crimson Tide" is struggling to stay in the top 6 as the "Purple Sticky Punch" is looking to close on them. AND......who woulda thought......"KC" is in a battle to hold onto 10th place with "Bob's Angels". Hope to see ALL of you again this Monday night as you guys drive the staff totally nuts looking for seats. Last week the Amish carpenters had to quickly build extra tables.

Last Week's Blurbage
Well, it was back to our home in the Ballroom and we had a pretty good crowd as 45 people showed up on 6 teams but we need more people to keep this show afloat. Tournament leaders, "We Don't Know Jack", got their first win last week on one of the lowest scoring nights I have ever had and they have opened up an 11 point lead over "Nobody Knows Crap" in the overall standings. The fact that "Nobody Knows Crap" is even in the top three is a total shock to the trivia Gods everywhere. Without Dawn they managed to finish in 3rd place. Well, WITH her, Jim said they probably would have finished 6th and her daughter Carli agreed. OUCH! The flea bitten varmints from the "Dog Pound" meanwhile, have moved back into 3rd place, dropping their bastard "Rejected Puppies" into 4th place. Sometimes families just don't get along. Seems to be a lot of in-breeding going around. Kinda Kentucky like in a way! And then there are the Lady Di inspired "3 Amigos" who invited out a couple of trivia virgins last week and they refused to put out. Hey, what did you expect, they are saving themselves for..........hmmmm, I have NO idea.

Men's and Ladies locker rooms and showers are available. Crossgates is a non-metal spikes facility.
