SPECIAL Happy 50th Birthday to my brother James Thomas. Love ya bud, glad to see you beat the odds and made it.
As I write this it has been 4 weeks since my last newsletter. Well, I am back, feeling a bit better than I did. I had a viral infection and the meds just sucked the life out of me. Be prepared this week, both shows take place. Check out the mini-categories for both shows.
If you are looking for some additional trivia diversions, come out to Cafe Chuckles tonight to Mike Horn's show. Margie and I play as "Out of the Vortex" and we usually suck. Last Week's Blurbage
Well, we had another fantastic turnout last week here at the Barn Door. We witnessed the return of the self-exiled "Lionel Richie has Left Us" and we also were informed of Jim Miller's cross dressing tendancies as the "J-Men" played as the "J-Men AND Women", Dusty being the ONLY biological woman on the team so where did the "Women" part come from. Hmmmmmm! In the end, the uber-geeks from "Out of the Vortex" won by a tiny 5 points over 'Richie; and the "Better Half". The "Better Half" had one of their best showings in quite a while and the so stunning Sammy took all the credit. 15 teams made up of 74 people made for a good show although "Wacky Corner" suffered from depleted ranks, as did "R&R". "Crimson Tide" did their best with a 4th place finish. Once again Jan blamed her teammates. See all of you back here Monday night. Now I am awaiting the promised return of the "Desperate Housewives".

This is a beautiful and challenging 18-hole full service public golf course located just south of the Millersville University campus at Shenks Lane and Crossland Pass. Crossgates PGA Pro Scott Fritz is the guy to see. Call 872-4500 or visit the Pro-Shop for info on tee times, rates, lessons or bang a few buckets of balls on the driving range. Men's and Ladies locker rooms and showers are available. Crossgates is a non-metal spikes facility.
