Welcome from frigid friggin Alaska. It is currently 9:30 on Sunday morning and the sun is just now rising over the Chugach mountain range about 5 miles east of my daughters living room window here in Anchorage. It is 5 degrees below zero and there is about 5 feet of snow on the ground. When I flew in here on Friday night the temperature was -11 and the temperature up in Fairbanks was -55 so enjoy your supposedly "cold" temps. Heather is doing fine and she says hello. This is a beautiful and challenging 18-hole full service public golf course located just south of the Millersville University campus at Shenks Lane and Crossland Pass. Crossgates PGA Pro Scott Fritz is the guy to see. Call 872-4500 or visit the Pro-Shop for info on tee times, rates, lessons or bang a few buckets of balls on the driving range. Men's and Ladies locker rooms and showers are available. Crossgates is a non-metal spikes facility.
