Last Week's Blurbage

OMG, what a night here at the Barn Door last week. It was our largest crowd ever and we had to turn some people away. The fire marshall would NOT have been pleased. We had 96 people on 16 total teams and "Out of the Vortex" did NOT win. The winners were the "J-Men" and I find it ironic that on one of their best nights Jim Miller was not among them. Hmmmmmm! The 'Vortex finished second and the "Wacky Corner" finished 3rd.

Another REALLY SLOW, LOW attendance night. So small only one team showed up and the show was postponed so your mini-category for the 25th will once again be flowers. And if the weather is good we will have the show at the pool and the starting time will be 6:30 instead of 7. If weather closes the pool we will NOT have a show. Check with the club before you come out.

This is a beautiful and challenging 18-hole full service public golf course located just south of the Millersville University campus at Shenks Lane and Crossland Pass. Crossgates PGA Pro Scott Fritz is the guy to see. Call 872-4500 or visit the Pro-Shop for info on tee times, rates, lessons or bang a few buckets of balls on the driving range. Men's and Ladies locker rooms and showers are available. Crossgates is a non-metal spikes facility.
