WELCOME TO THE
BILLY WARMTH TRIVIA SHOW

Announcements

Special Trivia Show
Put This On Your Calendar

On Saturday, April 26th, from 5pm to 7pm, I will be hosting a trivia show at Crossgates to benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. The show is in memory of late Millersville University Professor Dr Steve Centola. Dr Centola was a friend and longtime faculty member at Millersville. Steve was co-founder of the Arthur Miller Society and his specialty was American Drama. There is no admission charge to this special event but I am going to try to relieve you of some of the contents of your wallets. There will raffle tickets to purchase for you to have a chance to win numerous generously donated prizes. Some of the prizes you can buy a chance for include:

A gift certificate for 4 rounds of weekend golf w/carts at Crossgates

Lancaster Barnstormers Skybox Tickets

Massage & Facial from Bushwhackers Salon & Day Spa

Celis is going to donate a portion of there proceeds to the cause and I will match that donation. I will also have set up 2 Cheeseball size barrels for additional cash donations that I would love to have you fill. So, bring your appetites and a full wallet and help out with this worthy cause.

Last Week's Blurbage

Welcome to the show that is now dedicated to the Millersville Boro Police Parking Ticket Nazis. Last week the Police, at the request of the pinheads from the Uni-Mart mext door, ticketed 14 vehicles to the tune of $25 a piece for parking in spaces that nobody knew were exclusively the Uni-Marts. If they keep this up the Boro won't need tax relief. I have talked to the Police Chief and he agrees that although the officer was correct, it could have been handled better than that. What a bunch of crap, especially when you consider the fact that the only sign restricitng parking makes NO mention of who the lot belongs to. I encourage all of you to never park over there again and to NEVER EVER cater to that establishment again. I am making it my mission to put them out of business. As much as I hate to say this, get your snacks and gas at Turkey Hill, which is also grossly overpriced. Per the chief, you ARE permitted to park in the borough parking lot across Colonial Avenue at the top of the Barn Door parking lot. Just don't park in spaces that say police vehicles only. That would be really stupid and you should get ticketed, towed and flogged. If you are not sure if you are parked in a valid area please come see me before the show. As for last weeks show, "Out of the Vortex" won their 3rd in a row and have taken control of the tournament away from "Lionel Richie has Left Us". With 3 weeks to go the geriatric bunch from the 'Vortex have a 34 point lead over 2nd place. 20 points farther back is "Puppet Lint" with "Is That Some-Kinda-Thing In Your Pants or..." with the "Wacky Corner breathing down their necks in 5th place. In 6th place is the self-destructing "J-Men". I have it on good authority that Jim Miller is not holding up his end of the bargain. Also, "KC" is in danger of losing their grip on the 10th place spot they love so much. Cori keeps saying that Kim has been such a disappointment and mother-hen Karen just shakes her head and giggles in frustration. Kinda like the AFLAC duck.

Your Remaining Tournament Mini-categories are:

American Authors
First Aid
Food Network
Italian Cuisine
Oceanography

LAST WEEK'S BLURBAGE

Wow, what a fabulous night we had last week here at Crossagtes. We had the deck open for the first time and it was a nice night. Well, except for a certain member of the "Better half" who thinks the deck should only be open if the temperature is in the triple digits or something like that. "Out of the Vortex" broke tournament leader "Stupid MOFOs" 3 week winning streak but the 'MOFOs still lead the 'Vortex by a whopping 29 points with just 3 weeks to go in our Spring 2008 tournament. 84 points back and now battling for 3rd place, "R & R" has moved into a tie with "Just the 18th" Speaking of the '18th, the lovely Karen (Joyce hates that, so does Tracy and Lisa) was disappointed that the ladies from the 'MOFOs were not present last week. The women from both teams just hate each other as they both are battling for my attention. Kinda cool, huh! I see a jello wrestling event in the future. Speaking of the women of the 'MOFOs, last week they were absent and this week the men from that team will not be here as they travel to Myrtle Beach. Rick said last week that he is certain that the women of his team will not do as well as they did. Bird, Todd and both Matts shook their heads in agreement. Not too far behind the 4th place teams is "Off Duty" in 5th and they are trying to hold off the "Bar Ks" who think they should have one more point than they do. However, the trivia gods are not being very cooperative with them. A scoring error last week benefits both the "Stupid MOFOs" and "Manishewitz" who correctly answered the question about the last team to make the NCAA Men's Final 4. I said the answer was UCLA but the correct answer is Michigan State and they both have been credited with the 5 points for that answer. This weeks weather should once again allow us to be on the deck so dress accordingly.

Your Remaining mini-categories for the tournament are:

Cars & Trucks
First Ladies of the United States
Poetry
South Carolina

See you guys Thursday night.
