LAST WEEK'S BLURBAGE

Oh My God! You guys are sensational. After taking a week off I came back to 138 players on 22 teams and it turned out to be a gorgeous night. I want to thank Bruiser for hosting the show while I got to play and enjoy time with my daughter Heather, her boyfriend Brandon, my brother James Thomas (the 'MOFOs Tracy wants to do him, Michele wants to watch) and my Dad. Dad, you didn't read that. Speaking of the "Stupid MOFOs", believe it or not, they did win. The defending tournament champions were perfect through 2 rounds and almost had a perfect night if it hadn't been for a Greek Bible question that tripped them up. In any case they DID win and Joyce was in a much better frame of mind than the previous week. She got her broom tuned up, swatted Tracy a few times with it and, apparently, threatened to hide Rick's golf clubs from him if her teammates didn't pay more attention to her. You all know it's all about Joyce. "Out of the Vortex" finished in 2nd place just 3 points back in a battle of trivia titans. Third place went, shockingly, to the "Better Half" with Beverly nursing damaged knees while on crutches. She goes in for surgery soon, she may have already had it, and I am sure you will all join me in wishing her good health. Speaking of the "Better Half", the oh-so lovely Sammy has once again taken credit for her teams finish. "Croma" in a bit of craziness of their own, finished 4th. "Croma" hasn't finished in the top 4 since the Kennedy Administration. And finishing 5th was a totally womanless "Off Duty". The guys did pretty well all by themselves. "R & R" however, with Bruiser returning to the player ranks, did not do so well and his teammates are "praying for the return of the old folks." That is a direct quote by the way. I am sure when Doc and Judy get back there will be some explaining to do.

Your Upcoming Mini-categories are:

July 3rd - National Hockey League
July 10th - Alaska
July 17th - Snakes
July 24th - Revolutionary War
July 31st - Math Terms

See you guys Thursday night.

LAST WEEK'S TOP TEAMS

1ST PLACE - 80 Points - Stupid MOFOs
2nd Place - 77 Points - Out of the Vortex
3rd Place - 69 Points - Better Half
