Last Week's Blurbage

Thansk once again for filling up the barn Door on Monday nights. I believe last Monday was a historic night. It has been nearly 5 years that I have had a team go perfect for an entire show and it has not yet happened at the Barn Door in the nearly 2 years doing this show. I also do not believe I have ever had a team ace the final round. That streak was broken last week but not by whom you might think. Although "Out of the Vortex" did get 10 out of 11 correct in that 3rd round (truly an amazing feat), they were bested by the "Wacky Corner" who had a perfect final round and broke the tie they had with 'Vortex and "Don't know Jack" after 2 rounds. Stephanie, Chad, Phil and Lori you may kindly take your bows. Finishing 3rd last week was the cursed Cowbell team, "Jeff's on Sabbatical Cowbell". The cursed part comes from the fact that it doesn't seem to matter how well they do, the 'Cowbell always seems to finish right behind those ubergeeks from the' Vortex. Stefan hates that team. It is his wish that just once 'Vortex would go INTO the Vortex. Finishing 4th was "The 3 No-shows" (Brian and most of his harem) and 5th place went to the Adam inspired "Just Dumb Luck".

LAST WEEK'S BLURBAGE

19 teams, 139 people, it must be a Thursday night at Crossgates. Yep, I keep wondering just how many people this deck can hold. We are getting very close to that magical 150 mark and with school back in session this week at Millersville University I see no reason why we won't get there in the next couple of shows. A group of 26, mostly freshman, took up residence deep out on the deck but, alas, they just were not prepared for the mayhem that these trivia shows do to human brain cells. It was a low scoring night with the "Fighting Mongooses" finishing at the top of the heap, one point better than "R & R". A scoring error was noted after the show ended and the 'Mongi will be awarded their 1st place prize this week. Thanks Sean for pointing out you did indeed know that Verdi wrote Aida. Third place wound up being "Ladies Night Out" (welcome back Nette) led by none other than the fabulous Pam. Matt said Bruiser was absolutely no help once again. You guys better trade him before the tournament starts. Talk to "Team Terrible". I undertsand Rob is looking to dump Dawn or is possibly looking for a replacement for Carson. Speaking of "Team Terrible" (formerly "Just the 18th") we welcomed Dawn's daughter and former team member Carli (?) as our newest server here at Celis. Thanks for a job well done. The rest of the top teams were pretty bunched up. As a matter of fact the top 7 teams were separated by a total of 8 points. I know you will wonder when you look at the scores for the top teams, "where were "Out of the Vortex" and the "Tickets"? Well, the 'Vortex completely imploded after being attacked by a group of Vietnam era fighter jets and the "Tickets", even with the lovely Pam, Melanie and a bunch of boy toys present, just could not come up with enough correct answers to get their PSSA score up to a winning standard.

The dream process is in the first instance admitted as a wish-fulfillment of the unconscious, but if this tentative wish-fulfillment disturbs the foreconscious to such an extent that the latter can no longer maintain its rest, the dream then breaks the compromise and fails to perform http://www.jouqoech.info/?search=for+kids the second part of its task.. There must be http://www.jouqoech.info/?search=1770 some other way...
