Last Week's Blurbage

"Castro Lives Cowbell" FINALLY did NOT finsih behind "Out of the Vortex" but they didn't beat them either. Stefan will have to be happy with a tie for 1st place at last weeks show with the virile 'Vortex. Kim said "Here Margie, Take That" to which Margie replied "I think not". Jeff and Mike were thinking Jello wrestling (actually so was Kim at that point). Meanwhile, John and his "J-Men"team stunned the crowd by finishing in 3rd place and kept "Just Dumb Luck" out of the winnings. Well, here it comes. Your Fall 2007 Back Nine Trivia Challenge begins on Monday night September 10th.
Your 10 Mini-categories will be:

Washington Redskins
Botany
Orchestra Instruments
Asian Countries
Bruce Springsteen
Fast Food
Crustaceans
Wyoming
Stock Symbols
Comic Strips

The mini-categories are in no particular order. One of them will be used every week of the tournament and then will be dropped from the list. Since there are 10 listed, the final week of the tournament may or may not include both of the remaining categories. Bribery of the host IS highly encouraged.

GOOD LUCK

LAST WEEK'S BLURBAGE

The "Tickets", those fabulous babes from Hambright and their boy toys, have loaded up and are now ready to dominate (don't you love it when I talk dirty) all pretenders to the trivia throne as they kicked some butt last week in the final tune-up for the Fall 2007 Back Nine Trivia Challenge here at Celis @ Crossgates. The "Tickets" led by Beth and Melanie, (they really can't stand each other) tied the "Bar Ks" last week for 1st place while pre-tourney favorite "Out of the Vortex" tied upstarts the "Stupid MOFOs" for 3rd place. Joyce insists they are the team to beat. The "Bar Ks" Jack says Joyce doesn't know what she is talking about. I am pretty certain that before all is said and done "Ladies Night Out "and "R & R" will have something to say about that. Of course we always look forward to the classic battle between "Thorns-n-Roses", "Croma" and the "Fighting Mongooses" for that coveted 10th place spot.
Your Fall 2007 Back Nine Trivia Challenge begins on Thursday night September 6th.
Your 10 Mini-categories will be:

Geology
MTV
Germany
Alfred Hitchcock
Computer Lingo
Imported Beer
Card Games
Tennis

The mini-categories are in no particular order. One of them will be used every week of the tournament and then will be dropped from the list. Since there are 10 listed, the final week of the tournament may or may not include both of the remaining categories. Bribery of the host IS highly encouraged.

GOOD LUCK
