LAST WEEK'S BLURBAGE

Big night, big crowd! The cheers went up early as the crowd found out that Bruiser will be missing for 3 weeks. Sally of "Ladies Night Out" was upset when that news broke. She decided she was going off to Florida rather than suffer here without her boytoy Bruiser. All that means is that she and Pam will now be fighting for Bruiser. So, as we go on with the show, 126 people on 16 teams showed up. It felt like some kind of holiday was taking place. We welcomed home from various Universities the former stars of the PA State Champion Penn Manor High School Quiz Bowl Team and Supreme Court Justice Sam Mecum. The "Bar Ks" Jack was hunting, AGAIN, "Off Duty" had MORE visitors from jolly old England (didn't help them) and Dawn and her "Just the 18th" crew decided to boycott the show for one week (something about seating the week before). Meanwhile, the "Stupid MOFOS" continued their winning ways with their 2nd straight beatdown of all challengers. Even the 2nd place "Out of the Vortex" (Margie had to keep waking her teammates up.....ventilator problems) was amazed at how easily the 'MOFOs took control and I now know why. The 'MOFOs have apparently had a revolution of sorts and the bombastic Joyce has been voted off the island by her teammates. Even hubby Rick acknowledged that it was going to her head. The change, however, might prove to be worse than before. Sources tell me that the new chief "loon"atic is Tracy. Her husband, Matt, was applauding the news out in the parking lot after the show when Lisa came up behind him and smacked him in the head with a railroad tie. Why she had one is still a mystery. Lisa wanted to be the new Queen Nutjob but Tracy paid people off. Look out this week when they won't have the very young Shannon to help them out. Tied for 3rd place last week was "R&R" along with the "Kids R Home". The Walton crew, yep John Boy lives, finally cracked the top 3 with the help of invited ringers. And.....a big welcome back to Christine who tried as best she could to help out the Geritol (Steroid Juiced) bunch from "Thorns-N-Roses" and a grand welcome to Brian and his gang from the Barn Door (Yes, Hello Melanie), who called themselves "Wait, This Isn't The Barn Door". Joining them out in the lobby was our newest team..."The Better Half". Their head-whench, Barb, finally made it back out after she disappeared for 4 weeks. Thanks to all of you for continuing to support this show so enthusiastically as am about to begin my 7th year here at Crossgates. I hope all of you have a safe and enjoyable New Years Eve.

Upcoming Mini-categories will be:

January 3rd: Marilyn Monroe
January 10th: Agatha Christie
January 17th: U S National Parks

See you guys Thursday night.
