Well, Bruiser filled in for me once again while I was in New Hampshire. Thanks to him for doing a good job wrecking your pysche, and wrecking "Out of the Vortex" too. "Wacky Corner", in a stunning turn around, swept into 1st place with a 4 point victory over the "J-Men" with the 'Vortex having to settle for 3rd place. I hope you all had fun messing with Bruiser and I will see you guys Monday night with Superman as your topic.

LAST WEEK'S BLURBAGE

An unusually light night for July here at Crossgates last Thursday night. I have a feeling many of you thought you would have to suffer through Bruiser, AGAIN. Only 70 people on 11 teams but everyone had fun. That was about half of our usual crowd size and I expect all of you back this week. Besides, we have to find out if "Croma" can make it into the top 3 AGAIN. Yes, last week "Croma", led by the self imposed King, Jerry, finished in 3rd. I don't want to minimize the fact that the "Stupid MOFOs" won yet another night, nor do I want to overlook "R & R"'s surprising 2nd place finish but "Croma" even beat the "Bar Ks" and......are you sitting down....."Out of the Vortex". This would be like "KC" winning on Monday nights at the Barn Door or Sunday nights at Cafe Chuckles. What is the world coming to. I wonder if this chain of events might be found in the Book of Revelation. Just a thought.

This is a beautiful and challenging 18-hole full service public golf course located just south of the Millersville University campus at Shenks Lane and Crossland Pass. Crossgates PGA Pro Scott Vandegrift (MU Golf Team Head Coach) and assistant PGA Pro Scott Fritz are the guys to see. Call 872-4500 or visit the Pro-Shop for info on tee times, rates, lessons or bang a few buckets of balls on the driving range. Men's and Ladies locker rooms and showers are available.
