HOLY MOLY! 18 teams, 86 people! You guys blew the doors off the Barn Door last week and "Wacky Corner" got their first weekly win in over a quarter of a century. And they needed every bit of that to slip past "Out of the Vortex" and "R & R"; and those two teams are now in a two way tie for 2nd place overall as we approach hump week in our Spring 2009 Tournament. 5th Place "Crimson Tide" is struggling to stay in the top 6 as the "Purple Sticky Punch" is looking to close on them. AND......who woulda thought......"KC" is in a battle to hold onto 10th place with "Bob's Angels". Hope to see ALL of you again this Monday night as you guys drive the staff totally nuts looking for seats. Last week the Amish carpenters had to quickly build extra tables.

Last Week's Blurbage

Well, it was back to our home in the Ballroom and we had a pretty good crowd as 45 people showed up on 6 teams but we need more people to keep this show afloat. Tournament leaders, "We Don't Know Jack", got their first win last week on one of the lowest scoring nights I have ever had and they have opened up an 11 point lead over "Nobody Knows Crap" in the overall standings. The fact that "Nobody Knows Crap" is even in the top three is a total shock to the trivia Gods everywhere. Without Dawn they managed to finish in 3rd place. Well, WITH her, Jim said they probably would have finished 6th and her daughter Carli agreed. OUCH! The flea bitten varmints from the "Dog Pound" meanwhile, have moved back into 3rd place, dropping their bastard "Rejected Puppies" into 4th place. Sometimes families just don't get along. Seems to be a lot of in-breeding going around. Kinda Kentucky like in a way! And then there are the Lady Di inspired "3 Amigos" who invited out a couple of trivia virgins last week and they refused to put out. Hey, what did you expect, they are saving themselves for..........hmmmm, I have NO idea.

This is a beautiful and challenging 18-hole full service public golf course located just south of the Millersville University campus at Shenks Lane and Crossland Pass. Crossgates PGA Pro Scott Fritz is the guy to see. Call 872-4500 or visit the Pro-Shop for info on tee times, rates, lessons or bang a few buckets of balls on the driving range. Men's and Ladies locker rooms and showers are available. Crossgates is a non-metal spikes facility.
