WELCOME TO THE
BILLY WARMTH TRIVIA SHOW

Greetings Earthlings, I am your host, Mr Billy (Buddha Belly) Warmth. I am the purveyor of mirth and madness, causer of brain cell cannibalization, giver of great prizes and the Master of all things trivial, well, next to Curtis Earth that is. Follow me now to the Land of TRIVIA.

GIVE YOURSELVES A BREAK, KEEP THE DISHES AND POTS/PANS IN THE CABINET, SAVE YOUR APPETITES AND COME OUT EARLY FOR SOME GOOD FOOD AND A GOOD SEAT AT THE SHOWS!

HALLOWEEN ANNOUNCEMENT

Here we go! Although Halloween falls 2 days before the end of our 2006 Fall Tournament at Celis @ Crossgates we WILL hold our 5th annual costume party on that final Thursday night, November 2nd. That will, once again, coincide with the conclusion of the tournaments. Make your plans now for your teams costumes. We will be awarding special prizes for the top team and top individual in costume.

IT'S TOURNAMENT TIME

The top 6 teams in total points after the 9 weeks at each show will recieve the following cash prizes respectively.

1st Place - $100
2nd Place - $85
3rd Place - $65
4th Place - $50
5th Place - $40
6th Place - $30

There will also be additional individual prizes and a grand prize at each show.

The mini-categories are listed below with each show but be advised; the list is in no particular order. I will use 2 of them each week. There are 18 mini-categories for each show and the only 2 you will be certain of will be the final week of each tournament because the other 16 will have been used. As each show finishes I will drop those 2 mini-categories from each show's list.

Last Week's Blurbage

After 3 weeks "Lionel Richie Has Left Us" refuses to give up their hold on 1st place and they have increased their overall lead over 2nd place "Out of the Vortex" to 28 points. "Wacky Corner", after experiencing an unusually "not so hot" night, has plummeted into a 3-way tie for 3rd place with the likes of "Large Group of Stupid Monkeys" and that "Solar Powered S*X Toys at Night" team. Sorry for the asterisk but I am on "high censor alert". Who is on the move UP? That would be "KC" who, without Cori (go figure) has moved into a tie with "Billy's 'some-kinda' Underwear" for 7th place and both of those teams are creeping up on the Platinum Goddess' "Don't Know Jack" team in 6th place.

LAST WEEK'S TOP TEAMS

1st Place - 65 Points - Lionel Richie Has Left Us
2nd Place - 56 Points - Out of the Vortex
3rd Place - 51 Points - Linuscratchitt

TOURNAMENT TOP SIX

1st Place - 207 Points - Lionel Richie Has Left Us
2nd Place - 179 Points - Out of the Vortex
2nd Place - 161 Points - Large Group of Stupid Monkeys
3rd Place - 161 Points - Wacky Corner
3rd Place - 161 Points - Solar Powered S*x Toys at Night
6th Place - 146 Points - Don't Know Jack

LAST WEEK'S BLURBAGE

After 4 weeks of our Fall 2006 tournament here at the Villa Nova West "Out of the Vortex" is maintaining their 15 point lead over "Cowbell" and the 'Cowbell's Stefan is now, apparently, driving the Springfield school bus. No.....wait.....that actually explains alot. You had to be there. "Hot Nuts & Honeys" is holding on to their 3rd place positions while "Lebowski" has moved into 4th place ahead of the stumbling and tumbling "Holy SWAG" which is now tied for 5th place with the "Steel Reserve". 'SWAG might not have taken such a hit last week if Carl had not been mysteriously absent. Muscle Cars was one of the mini-categories and he would have been an enormous help. Amish Kathy and her cousin, Mennonite Natalie, were both upset that Carl was a no-show and they have both now dumped Carl for.....ME! OH NO, where did I put that ice pick. By the way, neither of those teams should breathe too easily because "Army of 1" (formerly the "Lone Irishman") has closed to within 4 points of them. Here comes the hump week so be prepared for the downhill slide.

LAST WEEK'S TOP TEAMS

1st Place - 55 Points - Out of the Vortex
1st Place - 55 Points - Cowbell
3rd Place - 54 Points - Tangled Up in Booze

TOURNAMENT TOP TEAMS

1st Place - 252 Points - Out of the Vortex
2nd Place - 237 Points - Cowbell
3rd Place - 200 Points - Hot Nuts & Honeys
4th Place - 183 Points - Lebowski
5th Place - 172 Points - Holy SWAG
5th Place - 172 Points - Steel Reserve
7th Place - 168 Points - Army of 1

LAST WEEK'S BLURBAGE

Welcome back to "Team Tom" on one of the lowest scoring nights in trivia history; and the 'TomMeisters took full advantage of everybody else's apparent "asleep-at-the-wheel" night as they won with only 49 total points. Most of the usually strong teams could only muster 2 or 3 correct answers in the treacherous 3rd and final round but "Team Tom" got 5 correct to lead all teams. After 4 weeks of our 2006 Fall Tournament here at Crossgates the UNBELIEVABLE "Bar Ks", despite a 4th place finish, have actually increased their overall tournament lead to 18 points over "Wrecked 'Um" with "Out of the Vortex" another 2 points farther back on a tough 38 point night for both teams. "R & R" has moved 2 points ahead of "Ladies Night Out" into 4th place. "Off Duty" took a huge hit last week and dropped into 6th place only 1 point ahead of the surging wackos from "Crimson Tide" and 4 points ahead of the 8th place team of the "Assassins". As a matter of fact a total of 17 points separates 2nd through 8th place as we approach the hump week in our 9-week Fall 2006 Tournament here at Crossgates.

LAST WEEK'S TOP TEAMS

1ST PLACE - 49 POINTS - TEAM TOM
2nd Place - 42 Points - Crimson Tide
2nd Place - 42 Points - R & R

TOURNAMENT TOP TEN

1st Place - 226 Points - Bar Ks
2nd Place - 208 Points - Wrecked 'Um
3rd Place - 206 Points - Out of the Vortex
4th Place - 200 Points - R & R
5th Place - 198 Points - Ladies Night Out
6th Place - 195 Points - Off Duty
7th Place - 194 Points - Crimson Tide
8th Place - 191 Points - Assassins
9th Place - 177 Points - Thorns-n-Roses
10th Place - 174 Points - Fighting Mongooses
